The Twins
So, with a thought, He crafted the first being a reflection of His own will, a spark of His divine essence. This being was unlike anything else, a masterpiece of power and purpose. At first, it had no name, no identity. It simply was. But as it grew, it began to feel the weight of its existence. It looked out at the vastness of creation and felt both awe and loneliness. It turned to Jesus, its creator, and asked, "What am I? Why do I exist?"
Jesus smiled, His presence like a comforting embrace. "You are my greatest creation," He said. "You are here to guide and protect all that I have made. You are the balance, the keeper of order. Through you, the universe will find its purpose."
And so, the nameless being became God not the original creator, but the highest of all beings, the one who would hold the threads of creation in His hands. God accepted His role with humility and love, dedicating Himself to maintaining the harmony of the universe. He and Jesus shared a bond deeper than words, a partnership of creation and stewardship.
The Creation of The Dark Twin
But soon, another being emerged a sibling to God, born from the same divine essence but with a different heart. His name was Nyktherion. Where God was steady and purposeful, Nyktherion was restless and curious. He looked at the order of creation and felt trapped, as if the universe were a cage. He yearned for something more something wild, something free. He didn’t want to follow the rules; he wanted to break them.
Nyktherion’s heart grew heavy with jealousy. God had been given dominion over creation, while he felt like an afterthought, a shadow in the grand design. The more he dwelled on it, the more his longing turned to anger. "Why should I be bound by this order?" he thought. "Why should I serve a purpose I didn’t choose?"
One day, Nyktherion made his choice. He turned his back on Jesus and God, rejecting the harmony they had built. He embraced chaos, letting it fill him like a storm. His very presence began to unravel the fabric of creation, spreading discord wherever he went. Stars flickered and died, planets trembled, and the balance of the universe began to crack.
Jesus watched with a heavy heart as His creation was torn apart. God, too, felt the pain of Nyktherion’s betrayal. The bond between them, once unbreakable, was now strained. But they knew they couldn’t let chaos win. Together, they prepared to face Nyktherion, not out of anger, but out of love—for the universe, for each other, and even for the brother who had lost his way.
And so, the first great conflict began, a conflict which would last eternities, a battle not of swords or armies, but of ideals. On one side stood God, the guardian of order and balance. On the other stood Nyktherion, the embodiment of chaos and freedom. And between them was Jesus, the creator who loved them both, torn between the need to protect His creation and the hope that Nyktherion might one day find his way back.
